Tine Urnaut spikes during the last Modena-Trento

It starts officially tomorrow, Friday 27th January, the operation “Del Monte® Coppa Italia Final Four 2017” for Diatec Trentino. At about 10 a.m., the yellow-blue will meet at PalaTrento to leave by bus to Bologna where they will arrive at around 12.30 p.m.
In the evening first contact with Unipol Arena in Casalecchio di Reno, sports hall in which Trentino Volley will be back six years and eight months after last time (V-Day 2010 – Trento-Cuneo 1-3 played on May 9th). Trentino Volley has the second seed, that means that the yellow-blue will train in the huge sports hall on Friday before Modena: Angelo Lorenzetti and Dario Simoni will direct a technical-tactics training session for about ninety minutes from 6p.m. to 7.30 p.m., after the training of Cucine Lube Civitanova and Lpr Piacenza.
The group for the tenth Final Four of Coppa Italia in the history of the Club from via Trener will be made up of the whole roster of fourteen players and the technical, medical and managerial staff; also Tiziano Mazzone (who was out until Wednesday for a flu) was back in the group and regularly took part to the last training day before the leaving to Emilia.
“We’re really glad to take part in such a competition again, but we don’t want to be satisfied with our place in the ranking among the first four teams of Coppa Italia – explained the Captain Filippo Lanza, when interviewed during the program “Oltre la Rete” on Monday evening at Rai Sport 1-. This year, once again, we want to play in the final but we know this won’t be easy because, as it is well known, Modena plays well in particular during important matches. We are well aware of the value of the opponents but at same time we are confident. We’ve been waiting for this event for a long time. The team that will show to be more determined will win the match”. In Bologna, Diatec Trentino has already played four official matches, including a final; the happiest memory is of course the only victory obtained by the team from Trento: on 10th January 2015, semi-final of Coppa Italia 2015 (a 3-2 victory against Perugia) at PalaDozza. Besides the V-Day in 2010, Diatec Trentino faced other two defeats: semi-final of Coppa Italia 2014 (1-3 against Piacenza on March 8th) and the final in 2015 ( 1-3 against Modena on January 11th).
